NRWASA wins the AWWA Best Tasting Water Contest
The Neuse Regional Water and Sewer Authority (NRWASA) received an award for having won the "Best Tasting Water Contest" at the North Carolina American Water Works Association (AWWA) Annual Convention. NRWASA is a state of the art surface water treatment facility that was built in western Lenoir County as an alternate source of water as a result of the "Central Coastal Plain Capacity Use Rules". NRWASA serves Lenoir and southern Pitt County and is owned and comprised of the following entities : Town of Ayden, Bell Arthur Water Corporation, Deep Run Water Corporation, Eastern Pines Water Corporation, Town of Grifton, City of Kinston, North Lenoir Water Corporation, and the Town of Pink Hill.
