The Streets section is responsible for maintaining 117 miles of paved streets, 1.43 miles of dirt streets, more than 30 miles of ditches, and 63 miles of storm drain pipe throughout the City. Streets also maintains sidewalks and curb sections, warning and directional signs, and all City rights-of-ways, including trees.

The Streets section repairs all potholes, cave-ins on storm drains, and broken sidewalk and curb sections. We also do asphalt resurfacing, sweeping of streets and sidewalks, dirt street construction, right-of-way mowing, and tree removal which is performed by contractors in conjunction with City personnel.
