The Water Production section is responsible for providing City of Kinston customers with safe drinking water. Our staff maintains all of the City’s water supply wells and water storage tanks, provides chemical treatment of the water and conducts all water quality monitoring as required by State law. This section is responsible for providing and installing water meters and managing our cross-connection control program, in addition to assisting customers with water quality issues.
